Football weekend is here and after a rough 1-5 last weekend, we’re keeping it simple this time with just 3 picks to bounce back strong. We’re focused and these matchups are too good to miss. Let’s get back on track and make the most of this weekend’s action!
College Football Picks for Saturday, Nov 16th
Clemson vs Pitt +11.5
Pitt has a solid defense that could cause problems for Clemson’s offense, which has been inconsistent at times. Also, Clemson has shown some vulnerability on the road this season, especially when laying big spreads. The Panthers have kept games close against tougher teams and with the points in their favor, they’ll have the opportunity to play a conservative, grind-it-out game. Clemson may win but I expect Pitt to keep it within the spread. Given Clemson’s struggles to cover large spreads on the road this season and Pitt’s ability to hang tough at home, taking Pitt +11.5 is the play.
NFL Picks for Sunday, Nov 17th
Packers -5.5 vs Bears
The Packers -5.5 against the Bears still looks like a solid play. The Packers have been the more consistent team this season, with a defense that’s been good at limiting big plays and an offense that’s found its rhythm under Jordan Love. The Bears, on the other hand have struggled to put together a complete game. Chicago has shown flashes of potential but they keep making mistakes that give up crucial yardage and points. With Green Bay’s ability to control the game with both the run and pass, and the Bears issues with consistency, I like the Packers to cover the -5.5 on the road. Green Bay should have enough firepower to take control and win this one by a touchdown or more.
Bonus Pick
George Pickens Over 65.5 yards receiving
I’m taking Pickens Over 65.5 receiving yards in this weekend. Pickens has become the go to guy in the Steelers passing game. The Steelers have been using him as a deep threat. With his ability to stretch the field, he’s averaging over 16 yards per catch this season. His role has only grown in recent weeks, especially with opposing defenses focusing more on stopping Pittsburgh’s run game. Pickens to easily go over 65.5 yards and continue his upward trend as one of the team’s top targets.
Boom, you’ve got your picks to power through the weekend! We’ve dissected the stats and now it’s time for the fun part. Lean back and let the games do their thing. Good luck, and see you next week!
