Field animals and bar party animals.

Four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski talks about what made him the NFL’s superstar tight end on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The Buffalo native first recognized his hometown for forming him into a party with a notorious charisma among his fans.

“I just grew up having a good time. I’m from Buffalo,” Gronkowski told Fallon. That’s how I was raised.”

The five-time professional bowler told Fallon that if he partyed, everyone would say it made him “a better player on the field.”

Gronkowski said he analyzed how the party improved his tight end.

“Well, I’m carrying my friends all over the bar. I’m holding them! I’m lifting them. I’m curling them! It’s dancing, it’s like Austin Butler, it’s spinning!”

The 33-year-old retired tight end has managed to “convert” every exhilarating bar workout into a soccer field.

“Yes, of course,” Fallon sarcastically agreed.

When the Super Bowl LVII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles was set, Fallon asked Gronk who he thought would be the champion.

“I would say Philadelphia has played like a team all season. I’m going with the Eagles.”

Gronkowski, who retired once in 2019, joined former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, only retiring to win another Super Bowl in 2020, and will be in 2022. He officially retired again in June.

“How many suits have you been able to wear this season?” Fallon asked Gronkowski.

The Arizona Wildcats alumnus revealed he was “kind of close” to returning to the ballpark during the season and said he “missed it sometimes.”

“I would miss it sometimes, but not really. Then I would miss it for an hour or so, and then I would go to a workout and be like, ‘No, I don’t miss it. I don’t even have the energy to work out.'”

Gronk revealed that he received several calls in the weeks remaining of the season and “taken them seriously.”

“It took me five days to see if I really wanted to come back,” Gronkowski heartily told Fallon, explaining that he had been an athlete his whole life. It was something.

The 2014 Comeback Player of the Year said he hadn’t thought of making a comeback once in the past five days, and politely informed his team that he’d called back.

Gronkowski revealed that Brady tried to persuade him to come back to play for the Buccaneers, but he still had to pass.

“Whether I play football or not, he will definitely support me all year long.”
