The Ligetty Girls soccer team has cemented its position as a front-runner for the Ocean League as the halfway point of the league campaign approaches.
The Warriors battled for the lead Tuesday night with an 8-2 victory in Morro Bay. Bianca Flores scored his four goals, Raquel Schmidt scored a hat-trick with his three goals, and Sirena Heredia scored his one.
Schmidt and Heredia are tied for the top of the team with 15 goals each.
