I just can’t stand prosperity.
A week after pick killing it, it’s back in the trash at week 17. Against the spread he went 6-9 on an expert pick, 10-5 on the straight up and a disappointing 2-3 on the best bet. Part of the Pick-Six podcast.
That drops my record to 120-126-9 ATS, 159-95-1 straight, and 54-40-5 on my best bet. PS: The Panthers are one of my best bets. This is a bad loss, as Sam Darnold’s late fumble caused the spread loser.
Week 18 will be tough, but hopefully we can end the regular season on a little heater and carry over into the playoffs.

The Chiefs have a chance at the top seed in the conference if they win, but the Raiders have nothing to play but Pride. But now he’s on a journey and it’s more difficult. Still, I think he’ll hit some big plays for hanging out high-scoring games.

The winner here wins the AFC South. The Titans are on his fifth losing streak, while the Jaguars played well to the end. Tennessee has been beaten up and now has Josh Dobbs at quarterback. Unless Derrick Henry can run on his 250, I doubt the Titans are hanging around. Jaguars win.

It’s an important game for both teams. The Patriots have to win to make the playoffs, while the Bills are competing for the seed. It’s not easy. The Bills had to finish an interrupted game Monday night and deal with the mental pieces of a teammate who went down at Dummer Hamlin. But I expect the Bills to play well here and end New England’s playoff chances.

The Vikings aren’t playing very well, but they still have 12 wins, and this one secures the second seed. The Bears had a lousy loss to the Lions last week. The Bears will play better here, but I think Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson will light them up.

This winner will win AFC North. The Bengals suspended their game against the Bills on Monday night, which could affect their preparations here. The Ravens can get Lamar Jackson back and that will help their ailing offense a lot. Bengals win.

The Texans are playing for the first pick in the draft here, so they should be playing to lose. That’s just not the nature of this league. The Colts start Sam Ehrlinger at quarterback, but does that matter? The crime is terrible. However, they would play well enough to win Jeff Saturday’s final game as interim coach.

The Jets are eliminated and Miami must win to join New England waiting to lose. The Dolphins will almost certainly start Round 7 rookie Skyler Thompson at quarterback. That’s a tough call on a good Jets defense. Still, I think the Dolphins will have enough offense to beat a team with low motivation.

These two are done in terms of playoffs, but the Saints have played good the past two weeks. Defense went really well. That shows Carolina has little to play with, after being eliminated last week, with his second consecutive load he playing a game. The Saints win easily.

The Steelers still have an outside shot to make the playoffs, but they need help with a win here. The Browns have been road his game in a row, but hope to close out the season by beating out their rivals. I think so. An ugly game, but Cleveland would end Pittsburgh’s playoff chances.

The Eagles could secure the top seed with a win in this game. The Giants are locked in as the No. 6 seed, but coach Brian Dabor says he will play the starter. Jalen Hurts should be back on the Eagles offense. They need more games and they will get it.

Commander has been eliminated, so you’re playing for free. The Cowboys are trying to win the division even if the Eagles lose. Dallas is resting after playing last Thursday. Washington struggles offensively no matter who plays quarterback. Now that the Cowboys have won, that would be true here as well.

The Chargers are looking to claim the 5th seed in the AFC, and this will come with a win. Denver is playing for free. The Broncos played better against the Chiefs last week after waiving Nathaniel Hackett. The Broncos will hang out and probably pull off an upset with this one.

Green Bay Packers Detroit Lions (-4.5)

Featured games | | Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions
If the Packers win, they will participate. It’s very easy. The Lions must win and Seattle must lose. The Packers earned this position on his four-game winning streak. The Lions have an impressive win against Chicago, but this is a big step towards completion. The Packers are playing well and will continue to do so here.
