The Battle Mountain Girls basketball team pushed the Huskies’ record to 3-4 with a 40-27 victory over Grand Junction on Saturday.

The Full Moon Fever 5k brought teams from the West Division of the Colorado High School Ski League to the Vail Golf Course for a skate start under the stars on Friday night. Battle Mountain’s Kyle Ross and Addison Boesch won the men’s and women’s titles in the season opener. The Battle Mountain Girls won the team his title with his 228 points, ahead of Aspen (215 points), Eagle Valley (211 points) and Colorado He Rocky Mountain School (189 points). Wrestling Notes: Eagle Valley Place 2nd at Home Invitation
