CJ Stroud is definitely considered a first-round pick, and most people would be shocked if he didn’t make it out of the top five. Stroud brightened up an opposing defense in 2022 with 3,688 passing yards, 41 touchdowns and just six interceptions, while his pass completion rate was 66.3%.
Paris Johnson Jr., offensive tackle

Paris Johnson Jr. is also a likely first-round pick, and whoever picks him will need to be recruited at left tackle. The recruit burst onto the scene last season as the starting right guard and dominated at left tackle for Ohio State in 2022.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, wide receiver

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is consistently ridiculed in the back end of the first round or early in the second round. Smith Nigba was statistically dominant when healthy and was considered the number one wide receiver heading into the season.
Dawand Jones, offensive tackle

Dawand Jones seems destined for the second round based on most mock drafts. A former three-star in his tackles, he played sparingly in his tackles at left field in his first two seasons on campus, and dominated his tackles at right field in his final two seasons.

Luke Wypler is mocked at the end of round 2 and the beginning of round 3 in most online mocks. There’s no question that Wipler was one of the best linemen in Big His Ten last season.
Zach Harrison, defensive end

Zach Harrison has been ridiculed in the late 3rd to early 4th round range, and it makes sense considering he ticks all the boxes that could be required in an edge rusher.

Ronnie Hickman is mostly ridiculed at the end of the fifth round and the beginning of the sixth. His dismal plays against Michigan and Georgia have clearly taken a toll on his stock.
Taron Vincent, defensive tackle

Taron Vincent is mocked late in the sixth round and early in the seventh. Vincent is the ideal nose in the NFL. He lacks the ideal size to be a guard, but he should provide solid depth at the next level.
