SAN ANTONIO — — Torre Jones scored 25 points as the San Antonio Spurs overcame injuries to their two leading scorers to snap a three-game skid Friday night as they beat the Detroit Pistons 121-109 .
Spurs forward Keldon Johnson did not return after suffering a left hamstring injury with four minutes remaining in the first half. Devin Vassell was out of action with a knee injury.
Despite these absences, the Spurs were able to extend their lead to double digits in the third quarter.
