The Phoenix Suns are now on a three-game winning streak after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 112-110 at home over the weekend. Michal Bridges led the way with his 24 points, five rebounds and four assists in his 41 minutes.
Future Hall of Famer Chris Paul added 6 rebounds and 11 assists, while Tory Craig added 20 points as well.
It was also the third straight game Deandre Ayton has missed due to a non-COVID illness.
“We definitely need it,” Bridges said. Once you get a feel for it, it’s contagious. We’ve all felt it and we know what that feeling is….we just want it to continue. We have a lot of work to do. I have.”
bridge addedaccording to Duane Rankin of the Republic of Arizona, “Days off. Few self-care days.”
“Get a little pedicure, get your feet done. Get some IVs. Get some nutrition. Vitamin C and stuff. Then a little massage. Then play some games.”
The Suns are currently 7th in the Western Conference. But despite struggling with Paul and Devin Booker missing too many games this season, Phoenix will win his 2023 NBA Finals, according to his 2023 NBA Futures Championship odds on OddsSeeker. It’s still stuck at +900 because of that.
That puts them in fourth place behind the Boston Celtics with +350, the Milwaukee Bucks with +500 and the Brooklyn Nets with +800.
The Suns are looking to keep their winning streak going as they face the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night at 7 PM MST.
