#PAC12MBB Starting Five:
4-0- Preseason league favorites UCLA led the early Pac-12 men’s basketball standings 4-0 alongside UTAH, who was voted 10th in preseason media polls, each part of a perfect start. He has won three road conferences.
- UTAH’s 4-0 record is the second since participating in the Pac-12 (2014-15). Runnin’ Utes will be looking to make his 5-0 or better start for the first time in league play since his 11-0 start to the 2004-05 Mountain West campaign.
- UTAH will host Oregon Schools this week – Ducks Pac-12 (12 – ARIZ vs. CAL; 10 – UCLA vs. CAL; 10 – UCLA vs. CAL; 9 – USC vs. CAL).
Ten – As part of a 4-0 start to the league, UCLA won 10 straight overall, their longest winning streak since the 2016-17 season (also a 10-game winning streak). The Bruins also enjoyed a 13-game winning streak as part of his 31-5 final record in 2016-17.
- As of January 3, the Bruins’ 10-game winning streak is the fifth longest in the NCAA Division I and the longest in the Power Conferences program (New Mexico 14, College of Charleston 13, Florida Atlantic 11, UNCW). 11, UCLA 10TCU 10, Miami (Florida) 9, Oral Roberts 9).

- Their 10 ranked wins are currently the most by any NCAA Division I conference and the most by any conference since it expanded to the Pac-10 in 1978-79 (the previous high was 1994-95). and 9 times in 1999-00).
- Their 13 wins in the Power 6 conference is the most in the league since they recorded 15 wins during the 2019-20 season. His NCAA Tournament in 2020 was expected to see him field as many as six Pac-12 teams.
