Ole Miss Rebels have lost several key players in the last few days.
But the latest may sting the most.
Ole Miss star running back Zach Evans is set to declare in the 2023 NFL Draft, according to a report from ESPN College Football Insider Pete Thamel.
Alongside freshman prodigy Quincy Judkins, Evans is arguably the second half of the best running back tandem in the country, with career-best carries (136) and rushing despite missing time due to injury. finished the regular season with yards (899). And a rushing touchdown (8 times).
Fortunately for Ole Miss, Judkins was named the 2022 SEC Freshman of the Year after helping Evans carry the burden and leading the conference in several rush categories.
Evans noted the big steps Judkins took in just one season.
