Notre Dame women’s basketball made its presence felt with an 85-47 sweeping victory over the Boston College team on Sunday. The Fighting Irish (12-1, 3-0 ACC) hit 7 of their first 11 shots and 9 of their 16 in the first quarter and the visiting Eagles (11-5, 1-2) he outscored 25-8.

The Eagles only managed one steal in the first quarter, which gave Notre Dame seven points from seven BC turnovers. BC finished with just eight steals, but the Irish tipped the script with 15 steals, outscoring the visitors 19-14 in the turnover division.

Boston College beat Notre Dame 19-12 in the third quarter. It was the only time the Eagles held a scoring advantage against the Irish in a lopsided game. They closed out the quarter with his 8-0 run, even though the Irishman hit five of his final seven shots into the third round.
