Today, the AFC and NFC championship games are scheduled to travel to Super Bowl LVII, with the former Clemson Tigers vying for a chance to extend their season and win a ring.
Players tied for Clemson will be in each match as follows:
NFC Championship: San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles (3pm, FOX)
San Francisco return specialist Rayleigh McLeod and Eagles safety Kuvon Wallace are seeking their first Super Bowl appearance. McLeod last week fumbled a punt on his return in his wild game against the Cowboys in Dallas, but a 53-yard kick he responded to the mistake on the return and the 49ers won his 19-12 victory.
Wallace, meanwhile, had a solid run against the New York Giants in the divisional rounds last week, posting three tackles, one pass defense, and one QB hit. He has his hands full today against a dynamic group of pass catchers that includes former South Carolina standout Deebo Samuel, receiver Brandon Ayuk and tight end George Kittle.
Wallace is looking to bring the Eagles back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the franchise won it all in 2018. The 49ers played in their last game in 2019, but they’re the NFL’s first since the 1994 season. Haven’t won a championship.

The Eagles are currently the 2.5 point favorite against the 49ers.
AFC Championship: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals (6:30 p.m., CBS)
The Bengals are heavily influenced by the former Tigers as they make their second straight playoff appearance in the conference title game against the Chiefs. Cincinnati won this game a year before him and advanced to the Super Bowl. Higgins was a big hit in that 2022 showdown, catching his six passes for a game-high 103 receptions for his yards in his 27–24 victory over the Veggals. It could be any of the three former Clemson talents, or any combination, to lead the Bengals to a fourth straight win over the Chiefs this year.
Higgins only caught three for 28 yards last week against the Bills, but now has 25 receptions.[tions, 374 yards and two touchdowns in six career playoff games. Jackson Carman made a huge difference for the Bengals last week as he slid out to left tackle because of injuries to starters, and the former Clemson OL had a great game clearing the way for Joe Mixon and the run game while also protecting Joe Burrow. He’ll get another start today.
On the other side of the ball, Bengals DT D.J. Reader is considered one of the top run stoppers in the NFL, and he’ll need to have a big game on early downs to force Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, who’s dealing with a high ankle sprain, to throw from the pocket. The Chiefs don’t have an active player on the roster from Clemson, but former receiver Justyn Ross is on the injured reserve.
The Bengals are a 1.5-point underdog at Kansas City today.
