It all comes down to this. The 2022 NFL regular season ends this weekend in Week 18, but there’s still a lot to digest related to the overall playoff situation in both conferences. With both No. 1 seeds still in play and winner-takes-all tickets to the punchy postseason, it’s going to be a packed weekend that includes football on Saturday and Sunday. The AFC South winner will be determined by the end of this matchup. For Tennessee, this is the only way to reach the postseason, but as long as Miami, New England and Pittsburgh also fall to Week 18, Jacksonville could technically find a way out as the No. 7 seed despite losing. But my guess is that the Jaguars should be able to beat the Titans at home, so I don’t think they need outside help to advance to the playoffs.

Dobbs showed some promise against Dallas last Thursday and will now have Derrick Henry at his disposal. The Titans have scored just 17.6 points per game this season (he’s 28th in the NFL), while Lawrence’s Jaguars are just outside the top 10 in the league with his 24 points per game. I’m here. Over the last 10 games, Dallas is averaging his 35.1 points per game, and it’s the 9th straight game he’s scored 27 or more points. Combine that with facing a league-leading defense in takeout and it feels like a mountain too big for Howell to climb.
It also doesn’t matter that Dak Prescott has performed well against Washington despite having turnover issues this season. In his career against the Commanders he is 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS and his rating as a passer is 107.1.
