Are you kidding me?Like his successor (Mac Jones) in New England, Brady occasionally get dirty play in his career. Most of them occur after a turnover when squaring the ball his carrier or a tackle against a blocker. That’s exactly what happened here, and I was lucky that Hooker came out unscathed.

It’s not an exaggeration. The media would spin that Brady tried to “trip” the hooker, and maybe he was, but nothing justifies a slide tackle from behind. Of course, they are rarely seen on the soccer field.

Can you imagine Brady hooked up to Hooker’s ankle, or worse, his Achilles? Who says Brady could hunker down and perform a “trip” in real time?

Everyone, please watch the replay again. There is no such place in the NFL, let alone playoff games. Brady got lucky this time around, but the league definitely needs to reconsider any possible fines as cameras caught him in action.

The suspension is sadly wishful thinking, given that Brady has had the benefit of doubt from authorities his entire career.
