Ten former Alabama Crimson Tide players remain among the eight remaining teams vying for play in the Super Bowl.
Perhaps the most surprising thing about this weekend’s game is that the oldest starting quarterback is 29-year-old Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys.
The average age of the eight starting quarterbacks this week is 25 years and 278 days. This is the youngest group since the league entered the divisional playoffs in his 1970 merger.
All eight division-round starting quarterbacks are under the age of 30, just the second time in history (it also happened in the 2004 postseason).
In the AFC, all four starting quarterbacks are under the age of 28:

In either conference, the 1984 AFC Division Round (Mark Malone, Dave Krieg, Pro Football Hall of Famers John Elway and Dan Marino) and 2020 (Allen, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield) Only twice.
Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is just 24. Stetson Bennett, who just won the national championship in Georgia, is 25 years old.
