Eagles vs Saints Prediction and Analysis
The Eagles win (13-2) caps off their first NFC East title since 2019 with a win or tie.
Philadelphia also earns the NFC’s only first-round bye in the NFC’s No. 1 seed and the Minnesota Vikings’ loss or tie with the Green Bay Packers. Additionally, the Eagles can secure the top spot by letting the Cowboys lose or tie him one, the Vikings losing one and the San Francisco 49ers losing one to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Eagles cover -5.5 points
Minshew did pretty well against the Cowboys, throwing for 355 yards with a total of 3 touchdowns (2 passing, 1 rushing) and 2 interceptions. Minchu appeared to have instant chemistry with wideout Devonta Smith (8 catches, 113 yards, 2 TDs) and he AJ Brown (6 receptions, 103 yards).
Brown didn’t find the end zone last week but has done so seven times at home this season. Up.
New Orleans is likely out of the element in this game, and we’re not talking about a dome team playing outside.

Myles Sanders scores a touchdown
Sanders has been kept out of the end zone the last two games, but the Saints’ defense has been pretty generous when it comes to the ground game. New Orleans surrendered his 132.0 rushing yards for the season, ranking 23rd in the NFL. That’s an average of 143 yards over the last three contests.
Meanwhile, Sanders has a career-high 11 rushing touchdowns this season, including seven at home.
Notably, Sanders (knee) was one of four Eagles who did not participate in Wednesday’s walkthrough. The absence could be related to maintenance as a means of keeping his body fresh for Sunday’s game.

44 points or more in total
Philadelphia has plenty of offensive weapons at its disposal, but don’t sleep in New Orleans. Sure, the Saints will have an uphill battle on Sunday, but they boast his offense with his 15th-ranked pass in the NFL.
New Orleans features promising rookie Chris Olave, running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Juwan Johnson in the passing game. Olave leads the team in catches (63) and receiving yards (940), Kamara is second in his rank (55, 480), and Johnson has a club-best seven in his last six games, including five. He has scored a touchdown with 13 receptions.
Notes: Olave (hamstring) was restricted to practice Wednesday after missing New Orleans’ 17-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns last week, and Kamala (quadriceps/individual) attended practice Wednesday. I didn’t.
Eagles vs. Saints picks: 44+ points @ -110 on Caesars Sportsbook
