No Stephen Curry? no problem. No, Klay Thompson. But that’s okay. No Andrew Wiggins, no problem yet. No Draymond Green. But that’s okay.

Without four key starters in the second leg, the short-handed Golden State Warriors pulled off an upset victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

Jordan Poole put in an intense performance of 32 points on 10 of 23 shots from the field, hitting five triples in 41 minutes, recording three boards and two assists.

Along with Poole, five other members of the Warriors posted double-digit numbers. Returning from a 13-game absence, Jamaichal Green made three 3-point shots for Golden State’s lean second unit. Green added his eight boards in 16 minutes as he off the bench.

Without the Splash Brothers, the Warriors hit the Cavaliers hard from across the arc, recording 23 triples and 14 in the first half. Every member of the Warriors rotation has hit his 3-pointer, except for Kevon Looney.

Donte DiVincenzo continued his impressive stretch with spot starts, posting 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in 34 minutes, scoring 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting.

In the frontcourt, Looney stole 17 of the team’s 45 rebounds against the Cavaliers.

After the Warriors beat the Cavaliers to end their five-game road swing, the NBA community on Twitter had mixed reactions. Let’s see what fans and analysts said on Friday night.
