“It feels good,” Green said. “The players turned to me, the coaches turned to me. We needed it. We wanted it. We came out and executed.”
Green, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft, had 13 points on 3-of-13 shooting in Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves. He scored his 10 points on the Rockets’ decisive 13-4 run late in the fourth quarter.
“My goal is to be one of the best players in the NBA. I’m trying to learn as much as I can to stay on track.”
