Paris Saint-Germain duo Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi flew to New York City Monday night to watch Kevin Durant play with the Brooklyn Nets.
Mbappe and Hakimi played in PSG’s 3-1 loss to Lens on Sunday before being given a 10-day break by manager Christophe Galtier.
After playing seven games each in the World Cup in Qatar, two players returned to PSG so quickly that they were given time off.
Mbappe closed out the World Cup as the Golden Boot winner with eight goals in the final, including a hat-trick.
The big screen at the Barclays Center showed some of Mbappe’s World Cup goals during the third and fourth quarters of the Nets’ win over the San Antonio Spurs.

The Nets finished the night 139-103 as Durant had 25 points, 11 assists and three rebounds.
After the game, Durant presented Mbappe and Hakimi with Nets jerseys.
Durant was then posed for pictures with the soccer stars and was noticeably 27cm taller than the two.
Mbappe documented the event with an Instagram post.
Along with the two photos, he wrote, “A special night.”
