The World Boxing Tour Golden Belt Series tournament in Marrakech has a lot of local interest after the International Boxing Association confirmed that a significant number of Morocco’s elite fighters will step into the ring.

The World Boxing Tour consists of a series of events divided into three categories – Golden Belt, Silver Belt and Bronze Belt – contributing to a new IBA ranking system that helps define the most successful boxers at the end of the year. The top four athletes in each weight class will compete for best of the best in the annual Diamond Belt Series event.
