Carlos Correa’s contract with the Mets has been reportedly put on hold due to concerns over Shortstop’s injury history, but optimism is reportedly that New York will complete the deal. I have.

The New York Post’s Jon Heyman filed a lawsuit Thursday about why Mets owner Steve Cohen is doing everything he can to keep Correa from running away. Heyman also said the two-time All-Star wants to sign a deal because he doesn’t want to do free agency drama again.
“I would be surprised if he (not the MET),” one person close to the situation told Heyman.
