Just two days after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks, the Miami Heat took a 2-0 lead in the season series on Saturday.
The main points of this game are:
-Gabe Vincent played another big game. After scoring his career-high 28 points, he finished with 27 points (21 in the first half). As his performance level increases, the Heat may need to rethink Kyle Lowry as a starter. Lowry missed his final three games with a knee injury.
-Victor Oladipo is back to his old self. He shot 47% with 20 points and led all reserves. He’s now scored in his double figures in seven of his last eight games.
-Tyler Herro missed four games in a row with an Achilles injury, so Max Strath again took his place. He finished with just his 10 points on his 27% shooting percentage.
– Heywood Highsmith made his ninth start of the season but hasn’t performed as well as fans hoped. .
