Transfer portals have created a new world in college football. Players change teams on a whim, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first. So when internet rumors floated around that Ohio Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. transferred USCit doesn’t take long for people to believe it.
Hmm, that rumor seems to be false. Rivals.com Ohio insider Jeremy Birmingham asked Harrison directly about the rumors, and Harrison said he couldn’t believe it.
“I asked him when he was packing to transfer to USC,” Birmingham said on the podcast. “And he said, and I quote, ‘Where—did they come up with this stuff?'”
Birmingham has therefore assured Buckeyes fans that Harrison is not going anywhere.
“If you’re worried about Marvin Harrison Jr. transferring to USC, don’t worry,” he said.
Harrison Jr. is one of the best wide receivers in the country, finishing the season with 77 catches for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. There’s still a year left before he’s eligible for the NFL Draft, and the Buckeyes need him if they want to make the playoffs next year.
Luckily for them, there doesn’t seem to be any transfer rumors.
