Veteran Jewell McCullough scored four goals in the tournament and added an assist for the Maidens.

Another returnee, Victoria Villanueva, also contributed four goals to the Jacksonville cause while at Kilgore.

Rookie Lauren Wade hit the ball into the net twice and provided three assists for the team.

Itzel Arrendondo and Jizelle Castillo scored the assists.

On defense, McCown said Landry Hamel gave the team a solid play in the back line and Alexa Medellin did a great job as a defensive midfielder.

Jacksonville will take on Pine Tree at 10am Thursday in the Pine Tree Tournament, which runs through Saturday.
