Under 16 7:07 PM ET — All tied between Purdue and Rutgers in the first media timeout. Both teams aggressively slow down out of the gate. 4-4 with 15:49 remaining in the first half.
7:04 PM ET — Purdue are 0-2 from the 3-point line early on, but Zach Eadie continues to shine on the offensive grass. He pulls in his ball loose and scores the boilermaker’s first point on the board.
7:03 PM ET — Caleb McConnell scored the first basket of the game, putting the Rutgers ahead before Purdue knocked down a shot.
Tip — Zach Eady was called for an early foul as Rutgers got the chip and Cliff Omolui searched for space under the basket. Scarlett his Knights had two chances to shoot near the paint, but no points.
