The two-time MVP has missed the last 11 games, but is listed as a likely match against the Phoenix Suns in San Francisco on Tuesday.
Via Kendra Andrews on ESPN: “Stephen Curry is listed as a likely candidate for tomorrow’s game against the Suns, according to the Warriors.
This is great news for the Warriors as it means he is likely to play.
In 26 games, Curry is averaging 30.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
The four-time NBA champion shoots 50.0% from the field and 43.4% from three-point range.
After a slow start to the season, the Warriors have been playing much better lately.
Recently, they’re on a five-game winning streak, going 6-4 in their last 10 games (although they’ve lost the previous two).
The Warriors are now 20-20 in 40 games, tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
They have an outstanding record of 17-4 in 21 games at Chase Center, but only 3-16 in 19 games on the road.
Curry was the 7th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and has spent his entire career with the Warriors (he’s in his 14th season).
Over the past eight seasons, the Warriors have made six NBA Finals appearances (and won four titles in between).
