Anthony Joshua is set to face three opponents in 2023, with promoter Eddie Hearn suggesting he will face an unnamed top 15 opponent first, and Joseph Parker confirming his I am naming.
Joshua has yet to return after being banished for the second time by Ukrainian rival Oleksandr Usyk. “AJ” is in need of a rebuild this year against the likes of Dillian White and Deontay his Wilder to seek redemption and become his three-time World Champion.
“I want to fight Dillian White again. If I can beat Jack, that might be my next chance,” Parker told Sky Sports when evaluating his next options. i know he knows [Joshua] Looking for a trainer or working with a few trainers in the US but if AJ wants a fight then finish Jack [Massey] off.
“David Higgins, my manager has messaged Matchroom [to ask] If Joshua needs a fight and you don’t hear back,” Parker revealed. “If you want a fight, come to me. Dillian White. Even Joe Joyce. If you want to fight again and no one wants to fight you, go again. I don’t worry about fighting anyone.”
Parker lost to Joshua in 2018, but the Briton appears to be snatching Parker’s world title, further unifying the division, and continuing his march to become the undisputed king. Things fell apart for Joshua after three losses, including two against Luis Jr. and Usyk.
Joshua is currently looking for a new trainer in the mainland US and has yet to confirm a comeback fight, which will be announced in the coming days. It suggests that they are considering building a megafight that has the potential to become
