DEKALB, Illinois – Inside Huskie Basketball, the NIU basketball radio show, will be broadcast live from Fatty’s Pub & Grille at 1312 West Lincoln Highway in DeKalb on Thursday, January 12th. The show takes place at 6pm on the radio home of Husky Athletics 94-9 WDKB and can be viewed anywhere via The Varsity Network app.
Inside Huskie Basketball begins this week and airs every Thursday until the end of the season.
NIU Men’s Basketball Head Coach Rashon Bano Husky women’s basketball head coach Lisa Carlsen Join host Andy Garcia for a recap of last week’s highlights, a look at what’s to come, and a behind-the-scenes look at both Husky basketball programs. Fans will also have the opportunity to hear from student-athletes from both the Husky men’s and women’s basketball programs who attend the show each week.
Fatty’s Pub & Grille, home of the world-famous Cajun French Fries Salad, will be home to Inside Huskie Basketball every week this season. A DeKalb community staple, Fatty’s is conveniently located next to the NIU Convocation Center.
The NIU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be at home on Saturday, January 14 for a doubleheader at the NIU Convening Center. The Husky Women’s Basketball Team will host Ohio at 1:00 PM, followed by the Husky Men’s Basketball Team against Toledo at 3:30 PM. 753-Pack (7225).
