BLOOMINGTON, Indiana — Women’s basketball in Indiana remains No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the third consecutive week.
Indiana won two home games this week, beating Maryland and Wisconsin inside the hall. On Sunday, 10,422 fans joined the program regular his season record viewership.
Finally, Big Ten opponents Ohio State slipped into No. 2, and LSU reached No. 3, changing the top five of the vote.
Behind Indiana, No. 10 Iowa is slowly winning over the Hoosiers after wins over Northwestern and Penn State. The Hawkeyes are currently on a three-game winning streak.
Maryland dropped two spots after losing 68-61 to Indiana. However, the Terrapins bounced back with a commanding win over Rutgers on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to hold on to ninth place.
Michigan has just three losses this season, but two big wins against Purdue and Michigan last week moved it up three spots to 14th. Win Minnesota on Sunday.
The Hoosiers will face the Fighting Illini for the second time this season on B1G+ at 8pm ET.
