Including Nicole Tepper in Panthers head coach recruitment violates NFL rules

As reported Thursday night by CBS Sports’ lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones, the Panthers have violated league rules regarding the search for a head coach. The violation concerns Tepper’s involvement, and Jones sources said Tepper “had not met the comprehensive recruitment training required for her to participate in the interview as of Tuesday night.”

In his report, Jones included a statement from Jonathan Bean, the NFL’s SVP and Chief Officer of Diversity and Inclusion. it reads:
