Fremont 58, Davis 56

Fremont sits on top of the Region 1 mountain and remains undefeated in region play, narrowly beating second-placed Davis 58-56. Silver Wolves senior his guard Trayden Hogan set the net ablaze with his 3-pointers on his eight on a 27-point night. Meanwhile, Fremont senior guard Braden Flinders combined eight points and he had 10 rebounds and 12 assists to achieve a rare scoreless double. Junior Zach Fisher led the Darts with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

“Trayden Hogan had eight 3-pointers tonight, which was obviously big. Christian Branch also scored 12 points.We had a great win on the road tonight, but we have a lot of work to do,” said Fremont coach Cory Melanie.

Spanish Fork 72, Wasatch 70

It was a close race from start to finish, but the Spanish Forks edged out Wasatch in overtime, 72-70, to claim their second consecutive win and fourth overall of the season. Senior guard Jackson Reese recorded a career-high 27 points, including four of his 3-pointers that contributed to the Dons’ victory.

“Our team fought to the end. They believed and never stopped fighting. I’m very proud of the fight,” Spanish folk coach Garrett Johnson said.

Enterprise 56, Kanab 52

In a battle for the top teams in the 2A, Enterprise continued their jump early on with a 56-52 win over Kanab to hold the rest of the way. The Wolves had only five players to score, but senior forward Austin he all scored more than his eight as Thomas took the lead with his 18.

“It was a tough fight tonight. Kanab are a great team and are well coached. We took an early lead and were able to keep it. Our kids fought hard, ran to the end and hit some key free throws to keep the win,” said Enterprise coach Bud Randall.

South Sevier 79, Parowan 76

It was a barnburner for Region 19 at Monroe as South Sevier beat Parowan in extra time at home to win 79–76. The Rams made nine of his 3-pointers and his four players led by senior Emilio Miramontes, who scored 23 points, his double-digit numbers. Parowan had two players over his 20 as seniors Waylon Robinson and Brockfelder scored 25 and his 24 respectively. Robinson he discharged five threes.

“Great team win! The boys fought till the end against a strong team in Parowan. The sophomores (Brace Brindley and Stockton Roberts) made a big step up to help their seniors.” said South Sevier coach Carson Christensen.

Milford 60, Wayne 55

The small-town ruckus in Region 20 made its way to Milford as the Tigers recovered from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Wayne 60-55 in overtime. Sophomore guard Sadler his Barnes was on fire as he made five of his 3-pointers as part of a 19-point night to lead all scorers. The Badgers had three of his double-digit players as a junior he scored 13 points from Jake Batty.

“It was a dogfight for sure. Both teams played very hard and the break was over in a flash. Wayne was well coached and he needed everything he needed to pull it off tonight. I’m proud that our kids competed too.It’s a slugfest in Region 20 and we were lucky enough to come out on top.It’s a great team effort,” Mill said. Ford manager Rick Rose said.
