Why was Henry Cavill wearing a Brazilian soccer jersey?

The former Superman, Cavill, has many charming traits. One of them is his dedication to his craft. You can see him go out of his way to bring perfection to the tasks he carries out. No wonder he is pinned by so many on the internet as the next worthy James Bond not.

From the DC movies Superman to The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia, Cavill has played every character to perfection. It was no surprise that he went out of his way to promote his 2015 film titled The Man from UNCLE.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, The Man from UNCLE is based on the iconic ’90s show of the same name. Richie co-wrote the screenplay with Lionel Wigram. The film had a star-studded cast with Armie Hamm and Alicia Vikander joining Cavill.

Cavill was promoting a movie near Sugarloaf Mountain in Brazil. He was posing for pictures with fans wearing the iconic yellow color of his jersey for Brazilian football. He probably even made Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. jealous. The actor was customized because he wore his number 10 Brazil jersey. But the iconic Brazilian football number 10 on his jersey is Neymar Jr’s trademark.
