January 10 (Tue) Area Prep Soccer Report
Haynes Academy scored a thrilling 3-2 victory over East Jefferson in Girls Action on Monday.
The star was eighth grader Evie Boyd, who scored two goals while junior Addison Reynolds added a third. Sophomore Kailyn Bivins recorded his 2 assists.
The Yellow Jackets (8-6) play at Kenner Discovery on Wednesday at 5pm.
The Warriors (3-6) will host Patrick Taylor on Tuesday at 4pm and can be watched live at CrescentCitySports.com.
In the men’s game, Willow School defeated Livingston College Eight 6-0.
The Lions scored three goals in each half
Six players scored for Willow School, including Dennis Alonzo, Alex Lupin, Max Moorman, Tenchi Otten-Rashad, Sebastian Salm and Ellett Clum-Stockton.
The Lions (7-3-2) are on a three-game winning streak and will next host the Morris Jeff Community on Friday at 7pm.
Livingston College (1-3) will play Sophie B. Wright on Wednesday at 5pm.
