GREENVILLE — The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club will move its home field from the West Greenville Charter School stadium, but not its permanent home.

Starting this season, the USL League 1 men’s team will play their home games at Furman University’s Paladin Stadium, the team announced on January 9.

Triumph has built a loyal following in the four years since the club was formed. The team went on to win his USL League 1 finals three times where he won the championship in 2020.

Since its inaugural season in 2019, Triumph has hosted matches in a stadium-enhanced version of the Legacy Early College Charter School in West Greenville. Team ownership added sophisticated signage, seating and marketing blitzes to give you the feel of a professional soccer stadium experience.

The original plan was to stay for two years before moving on. Two years turned into four years after the COVID pandemic created uncertainty.

In early 2022, the club appeared to have found a home before Greenville County leaders scrapped the deal.
