YUMA, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – The Gila Ridge Girls soccer beat San Luis 8-1 on Tuesday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
When the Hawks tried to honor their seniors, they did so with a dominant performance against their Yuma County rivals.
Gila Ridge came out swinging the gate, scoring six goals in the first half alone.
The second half didn’t see much offense, but two more goals were scored en route to the Hawks’ 11th victory of the season.
Gila Ridge has just two games left in the regular season.
Their next matchup will be against Cibola on the streets on Tuesday, January 31st.
