The New York State Women’s Invitational Wrestling Tournament was held at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College.

At 94 pounds, General Brown’s Zoe Jewett pinned Harrison’s Sienna Cozzari in the second period.

At 132 pounds, Governor Zoe Griffiths failed to bid for the state title as she was pinned by Tioga’s Emily Sindoni in the second period.

In Hardwood, the Patriots hosted the IHC and the Boys’ Frontier League contest at Sackett’s Harbor.

In the third quarter, Austin Purtle hit a low: 29 down for the Cavaliers.

During the break, Austin Griner goes to Bucket Can: 45-14 Patriots.

Greiner then found and buried 3 balls: 48-20 Sacketts Harbor.

Marcus Castin hits in transition. Sackett’s Harbor wins his IHC 72-31.

At Chaumont’s Girls’ Frontier League hoops, Lyme hosted Alexandria.

In the first quarter, Sophia Ososcalo hit a 2 down low: lime up 2 .

Maddie Davidson takes the bucket inside and ties it at the other end, while Dalz Parker counters with a jumper.

Alexandria sandwiches limes 32-30.

It was senior night for the Thousand Islands women’s basketball team as the Vikings hosted Beaver River on Hardwood.

It’s a milestone night for Delaney Wiley. Her talented seniors were two points shy of her scoring 1,000 points in her career coming into this game.

Then it was Kaitlyn Adams who had the Beavers’ 3-ball.

Delaney Wiley scored 34 points in a 58-46 victory for the Thousand Islands.
