Fantasy soccer betting is becoming incredibly popular among sports fans. The concept is very simple, simply pick five players from either team (or all five from the same team) in an eligible fixture, and accumulate as many points based on their real-world performances as possible to win cash prizes.
The game’s full scoring system can be found here.
Please note – these games have been taken from Bet365 – a bookmaker that is only legal in New Jersey, however, other U.S.-based bookmakers offer similar games with similar concepts.

This one is finely poised.
Both Aston Villa and Leeds United are unbeaten in their last two Premier League matches and sit 11th and 14th in the table, respectively.
Although we expect Unai Emery’s Villa to be the game’s winners, we expect this one to be a fierce encounter with plenty of cards, so when it comes to fantasy picks, we aren’t going anywhere near any central defenders or central midfielders.
Goals are also likely and with Leeds’ Wilfried Gnonto one of the league’s most fouled players, expect Jesse Marsch’s men to rack up the dead ball kicks.
Villa, on the other hand, are likely to use their attacking width to try and get the better of this weekend’s opponents, and with Ollie Watkins, Emi Buendia, and Leon Bailey all likely to start, we have to include them in our fantasy team. As for full-back Lucas Digne, the Frenchman is a decent pick when it comes to the possibility of registering an assist.

For the first time in a long time, Man United will feel they have a real chance of beating arch-rivals Man City.
The Red Devils are in great form and have won all of their last four Premier League games, and conceded just one goal in the process. Striker Marcus Rashford is in scintillating form with the Englishman already netting 15 goals so far this season (7 in the league).
Man City, on the other hand, are desperately trying to keep pace with leaders Arsenal, but after suffering a shock 2-0 defeat against rock-bottom Southampton in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester derby preparations have been thrown into chaos.
This game is still a tough one to call but we’re fairly confident that fans will see plenty of goals, therefore, both sides’ most attacking players are likely to prove the difference, especially when it comes to the fantasy scoring.

Bournemouth come into this one off the back of a 3-0 hammering against Man United and unfortunately for the Cherries, this weekend’s schedule doesn’t get any easier.
Set to travel to Brentford, who are sitting pretty in the top half of the Premier League table, getting even at least a point will be a huge challenge and one we’re not sure the team from the south coast are going to be able to achieve.
Thomas Frank’s Bees are arguably one of England’s toughest teams to break down. They already boast wins over Liverpool (3-1) and defending champions Man City (2-1) this season.
Given the difference in class in both teams, we’ve decided to take Brentford players in all five of our fantasy team picks, including goalkeeper David Raya, who is a good shout to keep his sixth clean sheet of the season this weekend.

There is no denying it – Chelsea really need a win.
The Blues have only won two of their last 10 Premier League games and consequently sit way down in 10th in the table.

Although beating Patrick Vieria’s Crystal Palace will not be as straightforward as some supporters may be expecting, history is on Graham Potter’s side.
Chelsea have beaten their London rivals in all of their last 10 domestic meetings, and we expect them to take the first step toward turning their poor run around with another victory against the Eagles on Sunday.

The North London derby is one of the most exciting matches in soccer. Tottenham and Arsenal – two fierce rivals have absolutely no love for one another and that always shows on the pitch.
11 goals have been scored in the pair’s last three meetings and with Mikel Arteta’s Gunners vying for their first Premier League title since 2004, all the pressure will be on the away team to keep their winning run going.
Tottenham always know how to turn up for a London derby though so don’t expect this one to be plain sailing for Arsenal. Arteta does have a lot of players who are in amazing form though, including attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard and wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. The question will be whether or not the Gunners’ backline can feed them though, so be prepared for Oleksandr Zinchenko to play a big role, especially considering he is capable of playing at full-back and in central midfield.
