Edgar Verlanga has parted ways with Bob Arum’s Top Rank company, which has promoted an undefeated super-middleweight for most of his career.
BoxingScene.com reports that Bahlanga’s manager Keith Connolly and a representative from Top Rank signed the separation agreement Wednesday morning after months of talks over how to move forward with Bahlanga’s career this year. confirmed that it has been reached. The 25-year-old Berlanga won all of his first 16 professional bouts by knockout or technical knockout, some of which were broadcast on ESPN, building momentum as a prospect. However, his past includes winning 10 rounds against Steve Rawls (22-2, 12 KOs) and Anglo (27-3, 23 KOs) of Toronto in 2022 on his unanimous points. All four games are at a distance.

Coceres (31-5-1, 17 KOs) defeated Berlanga in the ninth round of that match, but Berlanga won all three cards by the same score (96-93).
