Jalen Hurts is officially active and will start in Week 18 against the Giants.

The 24-year-old Hurts is set to face the Giants in the regular season finale after missing two weeks with a shoulder sprain that left him in doubt going into the weekend.

Hearts was listed as a limited entrant all week long, but he took a first-team rep and was clearly on his way to a comeback.

Meanwhile, the Giants are set to start Davis Webb’s promotion practice squad. The Giants are expected to rest many of their starters as they are locked in as the No. 6 seed.

If the Eagles win on Sunday, they will clinch the NFC’s No. 1 seed and have a bye week.

Here’s a complete look at the Eagles’ inactivity for this game:

  • OT Lane Johnson (crotch)
  • CB Avonte Maddox (toe)
  • DE Josh sweat (neck)
  • QB Ian Book
  • RB tray sermon

The Eagles in this game recover several players from injuries. Safety CJ Gardner-Johnson (kidney with laceration) and Robert Quinn (knee) were activated from injured reserves on Saturday. Gardner-Johnson missed five games and Quinn missed four.

The Eagles also added punter Brett Kahn to their active roster on Saturday. Khan had previously run out of elevation for three practice teams. LB Sean Bradley and DE Janarius Robinson joined his IR at the same time.

After backing up two games behind Gardner Minshew, Book is inactive like the first 14 games of the season.
