Donovan Mitchell unlikely to face Grizzlies

Donovan Mitchell unlikely to face Grizzlies

The Cavaliers returned home on Monday to face the New Orleans Pelicans after a five-game trip to the Western Conference.

They were able to pull off the Pelicans in the second half and take the win. However, they had to get back on the plane immediately to head to Memphis for the game against the Grizzlies.

I know each NBA goes through this at its fair share over the course of a season, but it’s a brutal travel schedule.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, they appear to be without a leading scorer in this short one-game trip.

Donovan Mitchell Left the game in the third quarter with obvious leg discomfort. He didn’t return in the fourth quarter, but the Cavaliers were pulling away and didn’t need to risk further injury.

However, Mitchell now i doubt it Against the Grizzlies with a left groin strain. Probably the same injury he suffered against the Pelicans.

Cleveland needs to find a way to compensate for the Cavaliers’ Mitchell average of 28.4 points per game.Cleveland (somehow) rises to the Sleeper MVP contender Ja Morant Who can explode 50 points on a given night.

Cavs and Grizzlies tip off Wednesday night at 8:00 PM EST.
