The LA Clippers went all-in in the summer of 2019, acquiring both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Swapping young star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for George, the Clippers signed Leonard and built the most talented roster in franchise history.
Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers, who was coaching the Clippers at the time, recently admitted he wasn’t sure about the deal. It was clear very early on that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was special. He is currently one of the best players in the NBA.
