Diego Sanchez is making the transition from mixed martial arts to bare knuckle fighting.
UFC veterans and ex Ultimate Fighter Season 1 cast members have officially signed deals to join BKFC’s roster as they face boxing champion Austin Trout in the Knucklemania 3-card co-main event on February 17 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Did.

Sanchez previously had the idea of doing a bare knuckle fight after leaving the UFC, but ended up signing with Eagle FC instead. Sanchez narrowly lost to Kevin Lee on his debut, but unfortunately Eagle FC has not promoted his card in the United States since his last event in March 2021.
Now Sanchez moves into bare knuckle competition in a marquee matchup with BKFC’s biggest card of the year.
Trout, meanwhile, will make his first appearance for BKFC after the multi-time boxing champion signs a deal with the promotion in late 2022. Trout was joined by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Jermell, and Jermour Charlo, who defeated Miguel Cotto in the 2012 fight.
Trout vs. Sanchez joins the line-up for BKFC Knucklemania 3, with the main event pitting two-division champion Lorenzo Hunt against Bellator veteran Mike Richman.
