The Cowboys kicked the Buccaneers in the butt every game.
Well, in all but the actual kick.
In Monday’s Wild Card game, Dallas kicker Brett Mahr became the first player in NFL history to miss three extra points in a playoff game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Then he did it again.
Midway through the first quarter, Dak Prescott found Dalton Schultz for a 22-yard touchdown and first point of the game, but then Maher extended the extra point to right.
Meher’s nightmare worsened in the second quarter as he again came off wide shortly after Prescott’s 1-yard touchdown rush. After Prescott completed an 11-yard TD pass to Schultz, he decided to shake things up late in the quarter.
The broadcast could see Prescott visibly shaken after his third mistake, and instead of a 21-0 advantage, the Cowboys took an 18-0 lead into halftime. Prescott appeared to be yelling “go f-king two” while slamming his helmet on the Dallas sideline. It was a drawback.

Eli Manning said on ESPN’s “Manningcast” after his third mistake, “Oh my God.” “I’ve never seen anything like this before. What happened?”
Peyton Manning mirrors Eli’s feelings.
“You must be kidding me,” he said. “Why are we kicking it?”
The Cowboys scored on their first drive of the second half, but coach Mike McCarthy disobeyed advice from Prescott and Peyton Manning. threw a kick.
Dallas has been in complete control of every game, but it looks like they’re at stake with the kicker for a possible next playoff matchup.
