April 21: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets.
April 27-29: 2023 NFL Draft, Kansas City.
May 1st: The deadline for NFL teams to exercise their fifth-year options for players selected in the first round of the 2020 Draft.
May 5-8 or 12-15: Clubs can host a three-day Rookie Minicamp Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday on one of the two post-draft weekends.
May 15th: New football training program started.
May 18-21: NFLPA Rookie Premier (provisional).
May 22-24: Spring League Meeting, TBA.
June 1: Deadline for former clubs to send “June 1 Bids” to unsigned RFAs that have received first-choice conditional offers only to be eligible for the CBA’s “June 15 Bids” provision .
June 15th: Time limit for clubs to withdraw their qualifying offers to RFAs and retain exclusive bargaining rights by substituting 110% of the player’s previous year’s salary for the ‘June 15th Bid’ on a one-year contract. Section 5 (including all other terms and conditions of the previous year’s contract) carry forward intact).
Late June: Rookie preparation programs held at individual clubs.
