College Roundup: Devin Harris’ Slam Sends Bates to Gettysburg in Men’s Basketball

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — It was Devin Harris’ dunk in the final minute that marked the exclamation mark in Bates’ 75-68 men’s basketball victory over Gettysburg College in Friday’s Daytona Beach Shootout.

Harris’ slam came with 35 seconds left in the game with Bates holding a 71-68 lead. Harris finished with 11 points, matching Elliot Kravitz, Trace Gotham added 19 to the Bobcats, and Steph Baxter added 17.

Ryan McKeon led Gettysburg with 16 points. Karl Schaller finished with his 14 points and Akim Joseph finished with his 12 points.

Wesleyan 73, UMF 62: Preston McCoo was one of four starters the Cardinals scored in double figures against the Beavers in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Marcoh had 16 points, while Nikki Johnson and Gabe Lovetts each had 11 points. Jared Langs finished the game with his 10 points.

Terion Moss led all scorers in UMF with 19 points. Jack Kane and Nathan Purin lost 14 points each.

Jennya Jones led the Anchorman with 18 points in the win over the Bobcats in Albany, NY.

Iszabelle Booth finished the game with 14 points and Antonia Corsinetti scored 12 points.

Megan Graf scored a game-high 19 points and Alexandria Long lost with 16 points.
