Salt Lake City – Jordan Clarkson hit a free throw with four seconds left as the Utah Jazz beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-125.
Walker Kessler tallied 20 points and 21 rebounds, becoming the first rookie in Jazz history to record a 20/20 game record.
Seven Jazz players scored in double figures as the Jazz snapped the Timberwolves’ four-game winning streak at home.
first quarter
Rudy Gobert started against the Jazz after hurting his groin in the Timberwolves’ victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. But after only five minutes on the court, Gobert declined the match and went to his locker room.
The Jazz had good shots from three innings in the first quarter, with Ochai Agbaj and Mike Conley making two each to thwart a 5-12 try.

Collin Sexton led the Jazz with eight points off the bench, while D’Angelo Russell led all scorers with 13.
The Jazz and Timberwolves were then tied at 27.
Second quarter
The Jazz cooled off from downtown in the second quarter and converted with a 1-11 three-point attempt.
Despite a poor shooting and five turnovers in the second quarter, the Jazz rebounded Minnesota 16–9 including five offensive boards to keep the game close.

Sexton took his total score to 11, with three other Jazz players adding eight points.
At halftime, the Jazz defeated the Timberwolves, 58-52.
third quarter
Anthony Edwards found a groove early in the third for the Timberwolves to score eight quick points after shooting 2-10 in the first half.
Walker Kessler took over the game midway through the quarter as the Timberwolves were forced to turn to Luca Garza as a backup center.

Kessler finished third with 14 points and had career-highs of 19 and 4 in rebounds and assists.
After leading 79-77, the Jazz won 18-8 to beat the Timberwolves 95-87.
4th quarter
The Jazz kicked off the quarter with a perfect 12-12 shot from the floor in the first eight and a half minutes.
Ochai Agbaji equalized at 116 with 3:30 remaining and extended their lead to 5 with 1:26 remaining.
The Timberwolves tied the game with a 5-0 run, but sent Jordan Clarkson at the free-throw line with four seconds remaining.
Clarkson split the free throw, but his make proved to be the difference as the Jazz beat Minnesota 126-125.
