A few months ago, if you told someone this was going to be a divisional playoff matchup, they would have laughed in your face. Still, here I am.
The courageous Jaguars stunned the NFL world last weekend with an outrageous comeback against the Chargers. what are their rewards? Date the No. 1-seeded Chiefs at Arrowhead.
Comebacks have been the theme of this season for Jacksonville. Doug Pederson’s team started off with a 4-8 record and made the playoffs after a ferocious late-season rally. Now they’re heading to Kansas City. We have nothing to lose, and behind our six-game win streak, we have a lot of confidence.
Trevor Lawrence’s first career playoff game was a tale of two halves. First, he was terrible, throwing four interceptions and holding off one touchdown toss to Evan Engram. In the second, he was otherworldly, throwing three touchdown passes and leading the drive to set up Riley Patterson’s game-winning field goal. The QB will be looking to keep up the momentum in the second half as he gears up for the biggest game of his young career.

The Chiefs parted ways last week thanks to the No. 1 overall seed, but we already know a lot about their quarterback. Patrick Mahomes again this year as he put together an MVP-quality season, leading his NFL in passing yards (5,250) and passing TDs (41) and setting a new all-time record for total yards in a season (5,614).
Andy Reed and his team are looking to reach their fifth consecutive AFC Championship Game.
