CBS Sports Brings Over 80 Cameras to Arrowhead for Bengals-Chiefs Round II
It’s a rematch of CBS Sports’ AFC Championship Game as the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head for a spot in Super Bowl LVII (Sunday, 6:30 p.m. CBS).
For the fifth year in a row, the CBS Sports production and operations team has been in Kansas City and brought over 80 cameras with them. Production plans include trolley cameras, sky cameras, live drones, fixed-wing antennas, pylon cameras, 15 super slow-motion cameras, and the Sports Emmy Award-winning “RomoVision.”
before Sunday’s show Jason Cohen, Vice President of Remote Technical Operations, CBS Sports spoke with SVG to give an exclusive look at the work being done for the big show this Sunday. What should viewers expect? How was the production of last week’s Division Round game in snowy Buffalo, and how did Trolly Cam appear as his CBS signature camera his angle in the playoffs?
Note: This conversation was recorded on Thursday, January 26th. Since the record, Jason has updated that he has moved his Fujinon HZK25-1000mm lens to his Sony 4800 shooting at his 8X.
