If anything, this was supposed to be the year the Denver Broncos finally ended their losing streak against the Kansas City Chiefs. Instead, his 14-game losing streak looks alive and well. The Chiefs are looking to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC and beat the Broncos to his 15th straight win. Russell Wilson is coming off his worst game since being traded to Denver in their lost season. The Broncos will play their first game under interim head coach Jerry Rosberg after sacking Nathaniel Hackett after just 15 games as head coach. They lost 51-14 to a similarly struggling Rams team, who have secured their second QB. With the team looking dysfunctional, Wilson only touched down in garbage time, forcing the team to join forces with Hackett.

The good news is that Denver played one of the best games of the season in its final game against Kansas City as the Chiefs went 34-28. Ending the leverage streak would be a huge achievement in a season that hasn’t gone as planned for Denver.
The Chiefs, on the other hand, are a consistent model across the league. Patrick Mahomes is again his MVP frontrunner. KC had already easily rounded out the AFC West Division, but going into the season it looked like it could be taken. Last week he couldn’t overwhelm Seattle with a 24-10 win, but a Christmas game at home looked easy. This game for the New Year at home does not seem to change much in appearance.
