Patriots coach Bill Belichick rolled up his sleeves at the start of today’s end-of-season press conference.
Belichick has confirmed he will return for a 24th season as Patriots head coach, vowing to work on a thorough process to make the team better.
“The process starts today,” Belichick said.
Belichick said missing the playoffs is not the norm in New England.
“No one is happy with that. That’s not our goal,” he said. “There is accountability everywhere. It starts with me.”
Belichick declined to say whether assistant coaches Matt Patricia and Joe Judge, who oversaw the offense this season, would return to the same role or hire an outside offensive coordinator.
“I’ll look into everything,” said Belichick.
